DP World Tour& KPGA Tour - Genesis Championship
Byeong Hun An defeated fellow South Korean Tom Kim in a play-off to secure his second DP World Tour title at the Genesis Championship. Birdies were dropping in from the start by the contenders as six players held the lead in some capacity at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club on Sunday.
The carousel at the top of leaderboard was in full flow until Kim jumped one shot clear heading down the last when An lipped out for bogey at the penultimate hole. Both landed their approach to eight feet for birdie putts, with An applying the pressure by draining his effort to move back alongside Kim at 17 under.
Kim needed to sink his to claim the one-shot victory, but he lipped out and the two home favourites were forced into a play-off. Both played risky second shots when replaying the par-five last, but Kim was left in a precarious position which resulted in him shooting into the main stand with his third and carding a bogey. An had two putts for the title on home soil and only needed one to seal his first victory on the DP World Tour since lifting the 2015 BMW PGA Championship, nine years and 156 days ago.

PGA Tour - ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP
Nicolas Echavarria set the tournament scoring record at the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP and winning for the second time on the PGA TOUR. The native of Colombia, who won the 2023 Puerto Rico Open for his maiden TOUR title, fired a final-round 67 at ACCORDIA GOLF Narashino Country Club to top Justin Thomas and Max Greyserman by one.
Thomas battled a cold putter on the back nine Sunday and ran off a string of eight straight pars before making a final-hole birdie to get to 19-under. Greyserman was at 19-under heading into the 72nd hole but hit his drive into trouble on the right side. He had a 24-foot birdie try on No. 18, but it barely missed, leaving the door open for Echavarria.
Echavarria had a 3-foot attempt of his own for the win on the final hole and the 30-year-old calmly drained it. He celebrated with a double fist pump and a huge, hearty embrace of De Antonio.

Asian Tour - International Series Thailand
Chinese-Taipei’s Lee Chieh-po finally claimed his maiden title on the Asian Tour today at International Series Thailand – after sensationally overtaking hot-favourite Peter Uihlein at the very end. Lee birdied the final two holes at Thai Country Club to beat Uihlein by one, after the American had led the whole day – in fact he had been in front since day two.
The champion, playing in the penultimate group, fired a seven-under-par 63 to finish on 21-under, while Uihlein closed with a 67 to tie for second place with Canadian Richard T. Lee, who carded a 62. Lee, whose English name is Max, birdied the par-five 17th to move to within one of Uihlein, who still looked to be heading for victory. However, Lee drained a 12-foot birdie putt on the last, shortly before his American opponent found a greenside bunker there and missed his par putt from a similar distance.

Big Easy Tour - Betway Big Easy Tour 5
It might not have been his first professional victory, but Graham van der Merwe admitted that his come-from-behind victory in the fifth event of the Betway Big Easy Tour held at Krugersdorp is the biggest of his career thus far.
Van der Merwe entered the final round with a three-shot deficit after local man, Simon Du Plooy and Matthew Rushton had stolen the show in the first two rounds of this 54-hole tournament. His final-round seven-under-par 65 took his tournament total to 16-under and he waited in the clubhouse as overnight leader, Rushton and Du Plooy still fought it out.
Other than Van der Merwe, however, a surprise challenger emerged. Englishman, Joe Knox carded the lowest round of the day an eye-catching 63 to total 14-under for the week and tie second alongside Du Plooy. Rushton’s even-par 72 saw him finish solo fourth on 12-under-par 204.

Delhi-based rookie Shaurya Bhattacharya’s late flourish on the final day earned him a dramatic come-from-behind victory and his maiden professional title at the INR 50 lakh J&K Open 2024 presented by J&K Tourism played at the Jammu Tawi Golf Course (JTGC) in Jammu.
