Alps Tour Golf - Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand
France’s Théo Boulet, 21, captures his second professional win in back-to-back events during this week’s 2024 Aravell Golf Andorra Open by Creand. He shot a final round of 4 under-par,67, making 3 birdies and 1 bogey on the front nine holes, and then he made 2 more birdies on the back nine. Boulet earned his 1st professional win at the 2024 Open International de la Mirabelle d’Or.
After his win, Boulet was ecstatic: “It’s unbelievable, to be able to win back-to-back events, it’s amazing. You know, it’s always been the goal to be able to win, but to be able to win 2 events in a row is something very rare. It doesn’t happen often on a professional level. I’m very happy, it shows that the work I’m doing is paying off.”
It was a long day for the players competing during the final round due to the weather delays, and he explained how: “During the delay, I played cards with my friends and had a good laugh with them. However, as soon as we were told that we would be restarting, I returned to my bubble and focused on having a good warm-up and round. Now that I think about it, I think that the delay allowed me to think about something else and take some of the stress away.”
Now that he’s won two events, Boulet said, “Nothing is going to change. I’m going to keep working like I’ve been doing, and hopefully, the season will continue on a positive note. Obviously, the ultimate goal remains the same, which is to move up to the Challenge Tour, and winning two tournaments puts me in a good position, however, the season isn’t over, so I must keep focused.” Boulet takes away a valuable lesson from this week’s tournament, “even though I didn’t hit it great, I learned to play with what I had. It was a big mental improvement for me.
This win is for everyone around me, my sponsors who support me as none of this would be possible without them, my coaches for all the work we’ve doing, my family and my parents who support me from far as they cannot travel with me as they work. Now I will enjoy this win and then focus on the next tournament.”

Martin Vorster secured his first win of the season at the Big Easy Tour event. He delivered an impressive performance; Vorster was in a three-way share of the lead heading into the final round in the East Rand. He produced an eye-catching round of seven-under-par 65 to win on a total of 13-under-par 203. Vorster's consistent play and strong putting were key to his victory, marking a significant milestone in his professional golf career. This win boosts his confidence and standings on the tour.
“It’s super tough to win here,” said Vorster in the aftermath of his victory. “You have to play three very good rounds of golf to be able to win on the Big Easy. The scoring here is insanely low. I played well from day one; from hole one. I played some exceptional golf. I did make mistakes but that’s golf and you can’t always play perfect golf. But, mentally and physically, the game was high up there this week.”
