PGA Tour - 3M Open

Kurt Kitayama has secured his second PGA TOUR victory, winning the 3M Open on Sunday with a final-round 65. His blistering performance, which included a tournament-record-tying 60 on Saturday, saw him beat Sam Stevens by a single stroke.

Kitayama, who started the final day just one shot off the lead, quickly built a comfortable cushion, birdying six of his first eight holes. Despite a bogey on the par-3 17th for the third consecutive day, which narrowed his lead to one, he held his nerve. Playing with his brother Daniel on the bag for only the second time this season, Kitayama safely two-putted for par on the 18th to secure the win at 23-under 261.

The 32-year-old’s victory, following his 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational win, propels him significantly up the FedExCup standings, moving him into the top 70 and securing a spot in the upcoming FedExCup Playoffs. Kitayama's world ranking is also projected to jump from 97th to 39th. His approach play was particularly impressive, highlighted by a 7-iron from a fairway bunker on the 14th that landed within two feet of the hole, contributing to his remarkable 20 birdies over the weekend.

Matt Wallace, David Lipsky, Pierceson Coody, and Jake Knapp all finished tied for third, three strokes behind Kitayama. Sam Stevens, who continued his strong season with a second-place finish, remains in pursuit of his maiden PGA TOUR win. The co-leaders heading into Sunday, Akshay Bhatia and Thorbjørn Olesen, had disappointing final rounds, finishing tied for 25th and 14th respectively.

ProGolf Tour - The Cuber Open

Swiss golfer Mauro Gilardi has claimed his first professional title on the Pro Golf Tour, winning The Cuber Open 2025 at Öschberghof. Despite challenging, rainy conditions on the final day, Gilardi produced a sensational eight-under-par 63 to overcome overnight leader Lars van der Vight of the Netherlands.

Gilardi, 25, who started the final round three shots behind, found his stride on the back nine, carding five birdies between holes 10 and 16. A thunderstorm briefly halted play with just two holes remaining, but Gilardi remained composed, closing with two pars to secure a two-stroke victory with a total of 23-under-par.

"I still can't quite believe it – but it feels amazing," said Gilardi after his win, attributing his success to improved putting and an overall strong game. The victory sees Gilardi jump to eighth in the 2025 Pro Golf Tour Order of Merit.

Alps Tour Golf - Biarritz Cup by CS Partners

Former Ryder Cup player and two-time DP World Tour winner, Victor Dubuisson, emerged victorious at the 2025 Biarritz Cup by C&S Partners on Sunday, securing the title after a tense two-hole sudden-death playoff against Spain's Jorge Maicas. Dubuisson, 35, sealed the win with a birdie on the second playoff hole at the historic Golf de Biarritz Le Phare.

The tournament, a significant collaboration this year with the Alps Tour, marked a return to the winner's circle for Dubuisson, who delivered a flawless eight-under-par 61 in his final round to force the playoff. Ireland's Ronan Mullarney finished in third place, with France's Quentin Debove in fourth.

Dubuisson expressed his delight, dedicating the win to tournament sponsor Gerald, a close friend and supporter of young golfers. The event also saw a highlight moment from French amateur Gregoire Hoyeau, who recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 7th. The Alps Tour will now take a break before resuming with the Longwy Alps Open in September.
